First - a post-storm photo. There are trees down - big ones - everywhere still. We got hydro back last night but there are still many people who will be waiting until later today or even Monday before they are back online.

I took the dogs to the park this morning, and Soleil managed to lose her ball under the fence. Arwen went to 'help' and her ball ended up with Soleil's. Then Cheech and Chong tried to resolve the situation on their own...

I am posting from my phone today; laptop is out of power and we have been without hydro since 10 pm on thursday, after one of the wickedest storms we have ever seen tore through. Trees and wires down everywhere and two houses burned to the ground after being struck by lightning. At the moment, we'll be waiting until noon tomorrow to get power back.

Three days in a row must be some kind of record for the summer of 2017 in Ontario.
