On Friday, I went outside in a T-shirt.
Today, we've got a wind chill of minus 11, winds of 50km/h, and sideways snow. At least the white stuff is blowing around too much to really stick, unlike some areas further east and south of the Great Lakes, in New York, Massachusetts and Vermont, who apparently got a foot of snow in the last 24 hours. Our turn will come, I am sure.
I felt brittle with the cold after just 10 minutes throwing balls for the Labradors in the Arctic winds over at the park. They, however, thought it was awesome, and they were even sillier than usual in the wind and the snowflakes. Just wait until there's too much snow on the ground and the ball has to hibernate.
And to think we've got four more months of this...
