These are a few of the daily sketches I've been working on (the ones I've remembered to photograph and had time to download from the cameras). The rules that I try to follow are : no more than 30 minutes total drawing time, and no more than 2 minutes in choosing a subject, so that if composition or other issues crop up, I learn to be more spontaneous and work around them. It's a great way to learn about the values that can be achieved with different hardness of pencils, as well as the use of negative space, and erasure.
