A very distinguished dog left us today. May he find peace and happiness in the next world. And may those who loved him feel his presence ever in their hearts.

I was down in the city this past weekend, and it was HOT. Fortunately, thanks to the recent very rainy spell (all of May!), Bronte Creek was running fast and deep, and it offered a delightful spot for many dogs to gather, play and cool off. Here we have Soleil and Arwen, their cousin Taylor (black Lab in the close crop), another black Lab that I ended up calling ''not Taylor'' when I processed and saved the images, and a Husky who gave all of the water dogs a run for their money in swimming and retrieving.
