This is how we watch the Olympics

Last Sunday, I completed the longest, hardest run I've done since starting back to training after my stress fracture in April. It was a hot, humid day, and I lost nearly 4lb over the course of the run, despite taking in a litre of water and electrolytes. I then spent the rest of the day dealing with a thoroughly unpleasant case of dehydration. I gave into it in the late afternoon and simply lay down on the living room floor and watched TV. I was soon joined by Soleil.

You can count on a dog for wanting nothing more than to just hang out with you, even if you're not doing anything at all.

Glad you felt well enough to run, but maybe you overdid it a bit. Glad you took to the floor. You have to love how they just hang with you, no questions, no worries, just there.

Just a liter of water to dtink? Seems way to much weight to lose in that short time. Please take care of yourself so you CAN do the next race.

Take it easy Paula. Even your dogs want you to pace yourself.
